Location
Central Dalmatia
Bol is a lively seaside town on the southern coast of Brač Island, best known for Zlatni Rat, one of the most recognizable beaches in Croatia. Set beneath the slopes of Vidova Gora, the highest peak among the Adriatic islands, Bol combines clear water, long promenades, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
Arriving by yacht, the town stretches along the shoreline with a small harbor at one end and the famous Zlatni Rat beach extending out into the sea nearby. Bol is more active than many island villages, but it still retains a traditional Dalmatian charm.
Where You’ll Spend Time
Most yachts anchor offshore near Zlatni Rat or dock in the Bol harbor close to the town center.
The main promenade runs along the coastline between the harbor and Zlatni Rat. Shaded by pine trees, it passes cafés, beach bars, and swimming spots along the way. This path is one of the most pleasant seaside walks on Brač.
The beach itself forms a narrow white-pebble peninsula that shifts shape slightly depending on currents and wind.
